i'm trying to get out of my intuos-y comfort zone, so i'm playin around on the cintiq at work.

the dragon is a WIP... i'm gonna get all concept-art up in this bitch.

quick update, peace out for a week


Quick update on the scooter. I won't be updating again until next weekend, once the hurricane of work I'm facing has past. Expect a mega-update then.

Sidenote: I got an internship at Whipsaw in San Jose this summer, so I'll be westward bound in a few weeks!

final rendering style



quick update on the bike. I've been sketching a lot, haven't scanned stuff in yet, but expect a massive update sometime next week.

this is the style / level of detail I'm considering for the final presentation. each vehicle will have 3 views rendered at this level, plus a few detail shots.

scooter update



made a few tweaks to the scooter. the greyscale rendering is the latest, i reposted the red for comparison.
made the forms and lines a bit more dynamic, took some weight out of the front, and tried make it jive a bit more with the greyscale car rendering from the last post.

thesis dump - small car



of the three vehicles, the car has been the most difficult. the aesthetic i generated on the bike doesn't translate very well. my first attempts led to the red rendering, which i'm not a huge fan of. the greyscale rendering is the most recent, and closest to my current direction, but i'm gonna play a bit more before i settle on anything.

still to come: car interior, storefront / showroom interior, pop-up-station kiosk, bike accessories and details, cross-vehicle storage units, brand identity / graphics, and maybe sleep??
